To Pak 'n sav

Hello Pak ‘n sav the lunch was delicious

I had a yoghurt and it was suspicious

Everyone made a sandwich and was nice

The teachers and parents gave us advice

So thank you very much for the ingredients

Because we had a fun time and it was brilliant

Rain

rain rain I can’t stop the rain

and then everyone complains

the rain pours on my head

and I can feel the rhythm of it

the rain comes in bucket loads

and there are floods on the roads

the rain keeps on falling on my head

the rain drums on the roofs

but the roof is like waterproof

                                         

 

Wylie a majestic eagle

Wylie a majestic eagle was starving so he went off to the Nile River to catch a fish with his sharp talons. On the way to the river Wylie was thinking of catching a slithery snake or even a juicy lizard.   

Wylie had to wait for the sandstorm to calm down so he can go to the Nile River. Wylie hopped on a stone and he started to think how was he going to get a scrumptious snake. Wylie was frustrated and unable to think but then he came up with a solution.

Wylie arrived at the Nile River and swooped down to get a closer look. He saw a big fish then gazed down as fast as a lighting and he caught it with his sharp talons. Wylie could not eat the fish so he had to eat it little by little.

  

 

coordinates

I am learning about the coordinates.

In maths I need to learn more about  coordinates. I didn't know how to do it, so Chase helped me. I got better and better at it, now I know how to solve the problem. I got the answer by looking at the x axis which is the horizontal line and then y axis which is the vertical line. So first I looked at the x axis which was minus 7 and the y axis which was 9 so the answer is -7,9. What I want to learn next is to use tidy numbers to solve problems and algebra.

My refections for term 1

In number and measurements I’ve got a 2A. I just need to jump to 4B then I will beat the national standard. I need to learn  reflection  and symmetry of an object.  

In geometry and statistics I’ve got a 3B. Maths is one of the trickiest thing to me because the problems are hard and I sometimes don’t get the meaning of it. My gaps in geometry is to draw and explain simple scale maps.

My score for reading on my overall is a 3P.  I need to find and discuss the purposes of the text.

My goal for next term is to try harder in everything. For next term I will try my best to get most of the answers right in maths. For next term I’m hoping to be above the national standards.              

  

I.C.T

Walt: use photoshop.

On Mondays the year 7 students and 8 students go to tech. The year 7 sudents go to the I.C.T room while the year 8 students do cooking. First we were given some instructions.

1. We had to find 8 images about our passions then we had to drag it on our desktop.

2. We had to save it on our file.

3. Make 8 layers.

4. We had to lower the opacity to 80% so we could see the colour cleary.

5. Then we had to colour it.

6. When we finished colouring, we had to upload the image.

7. Then we had to save is on our google docs.

Dear mrs Robinson

Thank you for teaching us kids about taekwondo. I’ve learnt how to speak in Korean from 1 to 10. It is awesome speaking in Korean because we can teach others how to speak Korean from 1 to 10.

I’ve enjoyed the tenets of taekwondo and a few of the simple self defense. I’ve learnt about the techniques and strategies to get away in a scenario. The most popular kick for me was the scissors kick.

The thing that I need to learn the most is Self Control and Perseverance.
