Stunt Wheel

Walt: make a stunt wheel.

At school everyone’s topic for this term is about toys. Today we made a toy made out of cardboard which is called a stunt wheel. Room 11 got the idea from a New Zealand journal books. We had a race, to see which stunt wheel was fastest. My stunt wheel was the first one to fall down. My stunt wheel went 2.00 meters long on the netball court. Everyone had fun then we had to go back inside to write about it.

My learning

This is an isosceles triangle that has 2 same sides and 1 side is different. We learned about the triangles which are  the right angled, scalene and equilateral. I need to learn more about the triangles because it was the weakest link for me.

Tell us about your favourite movie.
My favourite movie is life of pi. It’s about a man stranded on a boat in the sea.

How do you get to school?
I walk to school with my sisters and brothers.

What is your favourite tv program and why?
I like the lab rats because it’s an action program.

Do you think kids should bring phones to school and why?
Kids should not bring phones to school because they will play on them instead of working.

What are you going to do when you grow up?
I am going to coach a team. The team name is going to be the GI Griffins.

Tell me about your favourite sports?
My favourite sports are rugby,soccer,basketball,football,discus and shot putt.

Tell us about your favourite veggies.
My favourite veggies are carrots,corn,celery,potatoes,kumara,lettuce,taro and pepper.

I am hoping to learn most of my times tables. 2013 is the year that I am going to work harder at writing,maths and reading.

The only exciting thing that is going to happen is sports camp.

The thing that's going to challenge me is my times tables.

I am looking forward to going to the sports camp.
